Concept Home CareAHCA Reg. #232313

Homemaker & Companion Services · South Florida

You're three states away. Someone should be there today.

We provide homemaker and companion care in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Monroe counties — the cooking, cleaning, errands, reminders, and company that let a parent stay in their own home. Licensed by the state of Florida. Available every day of the year.

Our license, in plain English

We'll tell you what we can't do before you ask.

Florida licenses home care in tiers. We hold a Homemaker & Companion registration, which sets a firm boundary around the work our caregivers perform. Most agencies bury this. We'd rather you know now, so nobody discovers a gap in a crisis.

IncludedWhat our caregivers do

  • Light housekeeping, laundry, and changing linens
  • Meal planning, grocery shopping, and cooking
  • Medication reminders
  • Transportation to appointments, errands, and visits
  • Companionship, conversation, and activities
  • Help organizing mail, bills, and the calendar
  • Checking in and keeping family updated
  • Overnight and live-in presence in the home

Not permittedWhat our license excludes

  • Bathing, showering, or personal grooming
  • Dressing and undressing
  • Toileting or incontinence care
  • Transfers, lifting, or physical mobility assistance
  • Administering medication by hand
  • Wound care, injections, or any skilled nursing
  • Physical, occupational, or speech therapy

If your parent needs hands-on care, that requires a licensed home health agency or nurse registry, not a homemaker and companion provider. Call us anyway — we'll tell you straight whether we're the right fit, and point you toward the right kind of agency if we're not.

Getting started

From your first call to a caregiver in the house

First

We talk

Fifteen minutes on the phone. What's changed, what the days look like, what worries you most. No sales script, no home visit required to get an answer.

Then

We build the schedule

Days, hours, and specific tasks, written down. You'll know the hourly rate and the weekly total before anyone is assigned.

Ongoing

You stay informed

You'll know who is in the home and when. If a caregiver isn't the right personality match, tell us and we'll change it — that's a normal request, not a complaint.

Paying for care

Private pay, quoted plainly

We do not bill Medicaid or Medicare. Families pay directly, which means no eligibility process, no waiting list, and no state caseworker deciding how many hours your parent gets.

  • Hourly rates quoted on the first call — no estimate visit required
  • Long-term care insurance is often accepted; we'll help you read the policy
  • VA Aid & Attendance may cover this care for wartime veterans and surviving spouses
  • No lock-in contract and no minimum term

Call, and you'll reach a person

If you're calling from out of state, the time zone doesn't matter — leave a message any hour and we'll call you back the same day.
